National Aboriginal Addictions Awareness Week (NAAAW)
National Addictions Awareness Week is an important event, filled with informative workshops and speakers. Its also an opportunity to highlight entertainers who have achieved their own personal success by living substance and alcohol-free lifestyles. Scott Ward has been drug and alcohol-free his whole life and he understands the importance of living an addictions-free life. He brings his show into the community to fortify the sense of perseverance over substance-abuse by using laughter to bring people together.
Scott Ward encourages each community he visits to listen with their hearts when dealing with addictions, which affects many including Aboriginal youth. His show is a unique way to bring a community together for a few laughs.
